Common questions
How do I find something?
Use Search for item names, descriptions, notes, tags and the text inside scanned documents. You can also scan a container's QR label in the Scan tab, or with the iPhone Camera app, to see what's inside.
How do I print labels?
Open a container and print its label, or select several containers to print a whole sheet. Labels come in five sizes, on Letter or A4 paper.
Does Binfolio sync between my iPhone, iPad and Mac?
Yes, through your own iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is on for Binfolio (Settings › [your name] › iCloud). The first sync can take a few minutes.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. On Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings › Subscriptions. If you cancel, nothing is deleted; you keep everything you've added.
I subscribed but the app doesn't show it
In Binfolio, open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to subscribe.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
How do I export my data?
Use Export on the Home screen to save a spreadsheet (CSV) of your items. Export is always free.
How do I delete my data?
Delete items or inventories in the app, or delete the app. To remove what's stored in iCloud, open Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › Binfolio. See the Privacy Policy for details.
